Added today

We've added some new features. First of all, I'll actually start using this blog again. Secondly, there's two new note-worthy additions to the game that I'd like to mention.

There is now a new state called "Intoxication." This state is typically caused by the ingestion of foul food items (like a wild mushroom.) This causes the affected person/monster to lose agility and have only a 55% chance of hitting their target. The trade-off is that they also do extra damage and have a 15% higher chance to do a Counter-Attack
There will be items that you can use to create Intoxication. These items will allow you to either effect yourself, team mates or enemies, creating some neat tactical assaults and strategies.

Also added is a new weapon class: The Whip.
These weapons typically deal sub-standard damage when compared with other weapons. However, to make up for this they have the canny ability to use cheap skills that attack all enemies at once. As a standard, all whips come with a basic attack that costs 1 TP to utilise.

Side note:

Luck has been changed to become a factor in some attacks, skills and with certain weapons. Only at a higher level will it make a severe difference, but sometimes having a greater amount of Luck can buff damage. Especially useful for set-ups that are based around critical damage, as these set-ups typically swap high ATK for higher LUK and AGI.
To go alongside this change some items of loot have been added that are catered to increasing one's Luck.

Picture: Title Card

Tongue-in-cheek

The Main Menu title card!

The Japanese isn't there for any other reason than to be a tongue-in-cheek throw-back to JRPGs with an English title/English localisation.

Just an update on the Kiria Cemetary map:

Here's some screenshots of the Kiria Cemetary.

Each gravestone also comes loaded with a unique name. And there's 60 graves.

Screenshots: Kirk's Basement Map Update

Hi!

Today, I'm showing you screenshots of Kirk's basement. You'll notice since the last pictures it's changed a lot. It now not only boasts a change in scenery, but some exploration will allow players to find hidden items in it, too!

Kirk explains that Joseph is not the first to arrive in Kiria with a caseof amnesia.

Joseph learns that opening that chest is not as easy as you might think.

Hey there.

Today I thought I would share the introduction to the game.

Enjoy!

Information: What Was The Blue Bear?

What About That Blue Bear I Saw!?

If you watched the Thousand Hands Skill test footage, you may have noticed a Blue Bear in the item screen.

In Addenda, the world is littered with Bears varying in three colours: Blue, Red and Yellow. The different colours denote rarity, Blue being the most common (though still hard to find), Red being quite rare, and Yellow being the rarest of them all. It's among the rarest items in the game (or at least it will be once the game is finished.)

Bears have different functions. As you may have seen, Blue Bears have a positive effect for your party. They restore some important stats, which may turn the tables of a very difficult battle. Red Bears have a use in combat, too. Unlike the Blue Bears their effects are not positive in the slightest. In fact, the item description is as follows:

"Use in combat to punish your foes."

And punish they do indeed. I won't go into specifics (as all stats are subject to frequent change), but Red Bears will be a devastating force in your arsenal... If you can find them, that is.

As for Yellow Bears. Well. I don't want to spoil it, but let's just say, they're incredibly rare for a reason. ;)
